The 2nd and 3rd grade students will showcasing their talents at the Christmas Music Program. They will be performing the musical, Jingle All the Way. Join us on Thursday, December 18 at 6:30 pm in the KES gym for what is sure to be an evening of festive music, laughter, and holiday cheer.

Our PTO will be serving hot cocoa and cookies after the program.

We will be in school on Monday, December 15, 2025!

Kirbyville district policy is to have outside recess as long as the air temperature (including windchill) is 25 degrees or above. It is important that your child come to school with a warm coat and hat so they can enjoy the fresh air and exercise. If you do not have a coat for your child, please let Ms. Covington, the school counselor, know as we do have some coats that have been donated.

We do not have extra coats for students to borrow. We also do not have supervision for students that are unable to go outside as the teachers are on recess duty as well.

Mandy or Nurse Colby may ask some follow up questions regarding why your child is absent as we do track illnesses to help stop the spread and it helps to know what we are facing.
